Since it was so nice today after school, Parker decided to redeem one of his birthday coupons for a ride on the Riverfront trail. I didn't want to drive the truck into town so I walked along instead of riding a bike, big mistake. They can cover a lot of ground on those little scooters. They like to ride through town, too, which is nerve-wracking for me since they aren't used to watching for cars. I had to stop them when they wanted to ride over the bridge and head out towards the trail behind the high school, so we just went over the bridge and turned right around and came back.
