A visit from the Hodges sisters

Hattie has finally warmed up to Uncle this week!  She likes the belly tickles she gets from him-and trying to get a handful of his hair.

Josie visited today, too, she wanted me to play at the kitchen with her.  

 

After snow visit

After a very long break from the girls due to snow, ice and Covid (me), they finally came up and stayed over Saturday night.

Saturday we shopped a little in CR, got ice cream at The Vault and donuts from the bakery.  They did some Legos and we watched The Ballad of Songbirds and Snakes, then played cards. 

Sunday we watched Harper's favorite movie Little Women and had pizza at Papa Pete's.

They didn't like the changes in the games there or that you have to buy a card-plus it was super busy with birthday parties, but they played a little anyway.

 

Ava - back on the pitch

Ava's team had a scrimmage today.  It was so good to see her back playing the game she loves.

 

She played hard and made some great defensives plays.  They won 2-0. 

 She said her foot was a little sore afterwards.

It was very cold.  Papa brought his new pop-up sports tent and let Harper use it since she had a cough.
