Papa's needless lessons...

We went out for a morning walk and on our way around the yard, Papa decided to show the girls how to climb the cedar tree. They looked very bewildered and didn't want to try it. The boards on the tree have all the signatures of the kids when they were younger-Em, Ains, Tiern, Macee, Jackie, Debbie, James, Will, Parker, Auna and recently Rielee added her name to the very top board (she had help from Papa climbing up to it). The kids used to climb up to a very low hanging branch and then swing on it and ride it to the ground. It was kind of chilly in the shade and they didn't want to stay outside for long. We heard many loud "b-r-r-r-r-s" from Harper letting us know she was cold. Uncle Alan was outside and then came in the house with us to visit.

Ava found his phone, then his camera and they also played with his walkie-talkies, they got in some power struggles over the phone and camera so those had to be put away. They brought him books to read, and made him some food in the kitchen. He's just a big playmate to them.

Back outside after very long naps. Ava wanted to put on her dress, but Harper didn't. Harper also didn't want to wear the other hat they had brought, so I gave her one of mine. They found a little sand below the slide and were digging in it-we have to get busy and get the sandbox re-done soon.
