Rielee's 1st day

We took the twins over to see Rielee this morning before she left for her first day of school. She was so excited. She stopped by on her way home to fill us in on her day--she got 3 Superkid awards for following the rules so she is off to a good start. Des said she smelled kind of like the ferrets and guinea pig they have in the classroom, guess they got to hold them today.

Then we went home and tried to not think about Rielee not being there. Thank goodness we had Ava and Harper today, they kept us busy as only they can. Parker was gone, too, over at his Grandpa's helping stack firewood, but Auna came over to stay with us while Laury took Will school clothes shopping. The twins are getting really good at expressing their likes and dislikes now, and both of them are throwing temper tantrums when they don't get their way. Most tantrums are usually because someone goes outside and doesn't take them along, or when they take toys away from each other.

This picture sums up what poor little Harper has been suffering with this week, trying to adjust to real milk...poor thing, her face gets so red, Ava is doing better now though. Harper drank a lot of apple juice today so hopefully she will have an easier time tomorrow.
