Harper's All-Star Softball, river

Harper's Camas All-Star team had a successful weekend, winning Saturday 12-0 and today 15-1.  Both games were at 9 a.m., and thankfully, called in the 5th.  With the extreme temperatures, we were glad of that, it was 90 degrees when today's game was over at 10:30.

Harper played well, she was walked several times (got a hit today but was out at first).
Rounding third to score.

Their poster, it was on the back of the dugout.

We went straight to the river when we got home.  Harper's coach asked them to stay out of the sun, though, so we didn't stay long.  The water was cold but felt good.
There were a ton of people in the swimming hole, so they stayed away by themselves.
Harper went down the rapids once.

We filled a bucket of water balloons for about 5 minutes of fun in the afternoon heat.

They were in and out of the hot tub later in the day when there was shade.  Even turned down low, it was no relief, but relaxing anyway.  We played a few crazy games of UNO before an early bedtime.
Posing with the Papas after today's game.
