Coldyn

Sunday we went to Suquamish to visit at Jineen and Colin's house and meet Great-Grandson Coldyn.  Hayden was happy to pose for a picture with his baby brother, he's very proud of him.
Coldyn was happy guy when we got there but later was ready for a nap so Jineen put him in his sleep suit.

Ashli came over to visit also, so I had to get a picture of the girls with Mom.

Cousin playtime

Friday - Jillian and Bridget came up to play with Ava, Harper and Rielee.  Harper and Bridget did some drawing while Rielee and Jillian played volleyball with the beach ball.  Rielee wanted to play salon and do everyone's hair, but Harper was her only customer.
It was warm and dry enough today to get the Jeep out.  David was outside when the girls drove by and overheard Ava say to Harper "I've had my driver's license since I was a baby!"
Ava let Rielee straighten her hair this morning.

I couldn't believe Rielee was wearing Parker's dirty old helmet, but she was proud of it.

The puzzle

Emmy came to visit tonight and brought the girls a puzzle to put together.
They said "Yes"!
Rielee wasn't left out, they asked her to be a junior bridesmaid last weekend.

Busy, silly day

Ava won this morning's floof competition with her Cinderella sculpture.

They were trying to get some birds to come and visit by building nests and playing bird songs.  Ava got upset because Harper played an owl and a hawk and she was sure all the other birds were scared away.

Homework time, Auna came over to use our WIFI, theirs wasn't working right.  Rielee got some math help from her and called Dad later to get help with a couple other problems.

Rielee has been into Minecraft forever, now she's showing the girls how to play it.

Doesn't take a whole lot to keep them happy, they had Cracker Jacks for a snack and watched The Wall tonight.  There was plenty of silliness to go around, they can crack each other up so easily.

All three girls

A rare tender moment this morning between these two before Lucy attacked....
Rielee is staying with us for a few days while Mom and Dad are on vacation.  Ava and Harper came up in the afternoon, they're on Winter Break this week, Rielee is happy to have them here for a couple of nights.  They all had a fun afternoon-made a few bucks picking up cones, cleaned house for me, played cards and we watched Ninja Warrior.  Lots of wild cheering for the teams they wanted to win.
Rielee reads at night before bed so Ava and Harper read with her.  When it was time for lights out, Ava felt too warm in the middle and moved to the living room.

Valentine boxes, volcano and volleyball

We picked up Ava and Harper from school Friday and they brought their shoeboxes to decorate for Valentine's Day.  We stopped at the Dollar Store on the way home and they picked out supplies.  They had fun getting them just right, using about a whole bottle of glue in the process.  They also worked on their valentines, then finished them up Saturday morning.

They were happy to have some sunshine Saturday and with Rielee's help, built a volcano in the sandbox.  They also managed to get muddy, especially Rielee.  She decided to see how deep the mud was in the hole Parker made beside the driveway (when he got the tractor stuck briefly last week while clearing snow).  She discovered it was deep, to the top of her boots, got her boot stuck, fell over and was covered in mud.  I was a bit flustered when she came to the door and didn't think to take a picture of her, but she looked pretty funny.

Rielee had a tournament at Mt. View high school today.  We took Ava and Harper to watch and met Charb there.

Rielee and her fans.
She's trying hard to convince them they should play volleyball.

Parker's birthday

Since we were in Hawaii over Parker's (and my) birthday, we had a belated pizza, cake and ice cream party tonight.  It was yummy.  Can't believe Parker is 17 and I'm 48 years older than him.
The kids posed for me before Auna and Rielee had to leave for volleyball practice.
