We went to watch Auna compete today in the district track meet at McKenzie Stadium, she qualified in the 100 and 200. Emmy was there, coaching the throwers for Kalama.
Dan came to watch and Auna put him in charge of her pretend baby, Emmy named her "Althea". Fortunately Althea was quiet so he didn't have to do anything for her.
Auna ran hard, I think she was 5th in the 100. She pulled a muscle in her hip so running the 200 was difficult, but she gave it her best effort and finished it. We were proud of her.
