Josie, Emmy & Auna

Emmy, Josie and Auna stopped by to visit Saturday.  Josie was after some bread Emmy had in her hand.
Josie and Auntie Auna obviously have a very special bond!

Ava and Harper came up later and immediately went to Cathy's to play with the kids.  Rick put up their zip line and all the kids were so thrilled, just going crazy zipping back and forth.
We put up a hammock chair under the girls' tree fort, it's super comfortable.

The Easter lilies were in full bloom, they picked a bouquet for Laury and one for Kelly.

We dropped off Laury's to her and the girls got to see Josie, she was reaching out to them like she was ready to play.

Josie, stuffed animal emergencies

Josie was just getting used to me, then I stopped wearing a mask.  Monday when she and Laury were visiting, she came over and climbed up to my knees.  I was so thrilled, then I realized she just wanted to check out my phone-gonna take a little more time to win her over again.

I've received so many texts like these from the girls after Oliver or Murphy have gotten hold of one of their stuffed animals.  It's nice to be needed, and thankfully, Joann sells replacement eyes and noses.

Foosball, Easter lilies, dice

Harper challenged Daddy to a Foosball game when he brought them up Saturday afternoon.  It was short and sweet and she was a good sport when she lost.
We went for a walk looking for Easter lilies,  it's a little early yet but there were a few scattered down on the Dolan's canyon trail.

Rielee hung out with us for a couple of hours, they played many games of Left, Center, Right.

Later, after Rielee left, Harper declared we were having a Family Movie Night.  She confiscated all of our electronics, made popcorn, turned off all the lights and we watched "Yes Day" which we all enjoyed, well, Papa slept through the middle but said he liked the beginning and end.

Real live volleyball

Rielee being introduced during her match vs Prairie tonight, with cheerleaders and a small but loud student cheering section!  We were so grateful to be able to actually watch her play in person.  Plus,  it was the first time we've seen the new and improved Kelso gym.
They won easily in 3, the perfect game to go to, no stress, we were able to just sit back and cheer for our favorite volleyball player and team.
Rielee played great.

A sunny cousin day

Ava and Harper came up this morning, just for the day, and what a beautiful day it was.  After breakfast they went down to Cathy's and played with the kids for a little while.  When they got back, Rielee came over and they showed her the tree fort,
then sat out in the sun and had chalk drawing contests,
using their masks for blindfolds.  Rielee always lost and was suspicious that the girls weren't playing fair cause their drawings were so good.
We got out the little airplane ride-on since Josie was coming to visit.  Of course, the girls had to try it out, they used to love that thing.
Josie was interested in the girls, she'd get close to them, start to interact, get shy and go back to Grandma's lap, over and over.
Then, Jillian, Bridget and Tor came to visit, Josie got lots of attention.
The kids went in the hot tub, briefly, they said it was too hot on a hot day.  So they played outside, giving each other under doggies on the swing,
riding around and being silly.  They can still fit in the Barbie Jeep, even Tor drove it-
and the pink bike and helmet didn't bother him either.  He just wanted to ride.

Josie ukulele

In an effort to get Josie to warm up to him a little, Uncle brought out one of his ukuleles.  Josie seemed to love it when he strummed it, and then tried it herself.

She's so cute and busy, climbing up, throwing things down, sitting down and then climbing up again.  We even got to see her let go once and balance.

Josie

Josie came to visit me today, she brought her Grandma, too.  We had a nice visit as she checked out some of my toys.
