Christmas

Rielee with the nice puff quilt she made for Conner's Mom.

Rielee picked up the girls Monday, they went shopping and then spent the night.
Did some pre-Christmas Lego therapy.
Christmas Eve we made cookies and they helped me get everything ready.

We celebrated Christmas Eve at Des and Gabe's.  Lots
of good food, fun games and a gift exchange.

Macee and Des doting on Brentley.

Josie and Hattie were fun to watch, especially when Josie
opened the karaoke toy Des gave her.

The girls opening gifts from Rielee.

They played the cellophane ball game again this year,
it's always rowdy.   Emmy won.

Harper and Colin had a heck of a time at the start, but finally
ended up getting a few things.

They played several red solo cup games, this one you had to blow the cotton ball off the cup with the straw, then stack the cups with one hand.

Gabe won this brotherly showdown.
I think Rielee won the whole thing.

Colby and Macee at the end of a cup game where Des said "touch your eyes, nose, ears, etc.", then randomly, "CUP!" and they had to grab a cup, the table was full at the start.  Colby won.

This one was a contest to blow up a balloon in the cup and stack them all together.

Christmas morning the kids came over at 8:30 for biscuits and gravy.
I gave some old pictures of Macee and Parker when they were
little to Craig and Alissa.  They all enjoyed looking
through them.  Such a fun time anticipating the new babies
coming in 2025.  Christmas will be much different
next year.

We ended the day back at Des and Gabe's for a yummy ham dinner,
it was another wonderful Christmas.

Best ornament award

Alissa and Parker brought us this ornament before Christmas-they're expecting a baby in August!

Hattie

Look at that face, what a doll!
We had the pleasure of watching Hattie for four days while Laury and David went to Hawaii.
Some of her favorite activities were:

Play doh

playing with baby

helping cook anything

coloring

dumping out these blocks, repeatedly, she loves to unzip things
bathes

and this silly bus which plays Wheels On The Bus over and overshe wanted it on all the time, we actually kind of hid it from her sometimes, but she always found it!

Wicked, wreath making

The girls saw, and loved, the Wicked movie, so when I saw the Monopoly version, we had to try it.
It was a lot of fun, with no bills to deal with, just "coins".

Ava was the winner, of course, she had lots of properties.

Saturday was Des' wreath making get together.
Everyone was a great time and there were some very pretty wreaths made, and lots of good food, too.

Josie came over later, she got the Barbie house out first.

Next was Play Doh, even Charb played along.

Josie and Ava made a plate of cookies and Josie insisted that I ate all
the Play Doh cookies the last time we played with it??
