James b'day, Josie time

Friday we went to James' birthday party at Alan and Vera's, it was his Golden birthday.  It was great fun, and we got to meet Brentley!

She got some quality Barbie time with them.

On our Saturday garage sale and shopping trip, we had to stop at the Halloween store, some scary stuff in there.

Fun day with Hattie, Ava soccer

Hattie a whole day with us last Thursday.  

She's so fun, jabbering constantly.

Friday we picked up Harper and went to Ava's game at Doc Harris.

Their friends Sally, Sadie, and Ella came, too, they had a sleepover at Sally's later.

When the other team didn't show, Ava came over to tell us they were scrimmaging with the JV for half an hour.

 

Ava soccer, we love fall

Ava had her first school soccer game last week at Battleground.  They won 6-0.

Ava really played great.

The girls came up Saturday and we went thrifting, looking for clothes for their Halloween costumes.

Saturday night group painting party, even Papa participated, turns out he's a speed painter.

The girls put together Halloween cookie houses

and painted a cute sign to hang on the porch.

Josie came over to play several times last week since she starts school this week.

She got a Barbie soccer outfit in the mail box, so we set up a field.  I sent a picture to Ava and Josie said to make sure to tell her it was pretend.

 Shopping Thursday at Ikea at Ava's request, she loves to look at the display rooms, we found a lamp and the girls got lint rollers. 

Friday we went to the mall, had lunch there and they played a game of chess to break up the boring shopping.
