Look at that face, what a doll!

We had the pleasure of watching Hattie for four days while Laury and David went to Hawaii.

 Some of her favorite activities were:

Play doh

playing with baby

helping cook anything

coloring

dumping out these blocks, repeatedly, she loves to unzip things

bathes

and this silly bus which plays Wheels On The Bus over and over, she wanted it on all the time, we actually kind of hid it from her sometimes, but she always found it!

 

Wicked, wreath making

 

The girls saw, and loved, the Wicked movie, so when I saw the Monopoly version, we had to try it.

It was a lot of fun, with no bills to deal with, just "coins".  

Ava was the winner, of course, she had lots of properties.

Saturday was Des' wreath making get together.  

Everyone was a great time and there were some very pretty wreaths made, and lots of good food, too.

Josie came over later, she got the Barbie house out first.

Next was Play Doh, even Charb played along.

Josie and Ava made a plate of cookies and Josie insisted that I ate all

the Play Doh cookies the last time we played with it??

Early Thanksgiving

We celebrated Thanksgiving early since Macee and Craig were home.

As usual, Des and Gabe did a great job cooking.

Turkey comas-this was about a half hour later, after we had pie.  That's Craig's hand,

he was still awake.

 

Papa's b'day, tire changing lesson

Papa celebrated his 82nd birthday quietly, the girls made him a cake and Nancy and the kids took him out for lunch at Olive Garden.

The family that nose strips together stays together?

And we put the tree up extra early this year.

Movie watching time, Wild Robot was a good choice.

On the way back Sunday we had a flat tire on the highway just before Ridgefield.

Papa had watched a YouTube video tire changing video on the new truck so it only took

about 20 minutes and we had it changed out.

It was also a learning experience for the girls.

Love Hattie's sweet face, she came over yesterday for some play time.

Halloween

Our three trick-or-treaters were the cutest ever.

Charb sent a picture of Ava and Harper and their friends as Wizard Of Oz characters.

Josie came over today for some Barbie action.  She's such a funny girl who loves to tease Uncle.

 

Macee/Tierney shower

Macee and Tierney looked so pretty and happy at their combined baby shower. 

Lots of friends and family and wonderful food made it a great day for everyone. 

Life long friends and teammates Kenzie, Tierney, Maddie (with newborn Scottie) and Macee- how incredible that they were all pregnant at the same time.

Tierney got some practice with Scottie.

The cousins back together again.

After the shower the girls spent the night. We made fall wreaths, painted Christmas pictures, made a Halloween craft and watched Coraline, 

 

Halloween Batman, Ava's rainbow game, Homecoming

Had to get a picture of Harper in front of Dad's Halloween yard decoration.

Harper took this picture of a rainbow over Ava's game Monday, they beat Kelso 3-1.

She played her last game Tuesday, a 5-2 win over Skyview and another undefeated season.

Oh my gosh, their gorgeous Homecoming pictures, how did they get this old so fast?

Friday we got some playtime with Hattie.

She loves to dump out all the blocks.

It was funny when she got into a box of Kleenex and 

pulled them all out.  

Ava with a stop at her game Saturday against Puyallup.

It was one of their toughest games but they won 2-1.

Ava played so well.

 

James b'day, Josie time

Friday we went to James' birthday party at Alan and Vera's, it was his Golden birthday.  It was great fun, and we got to meet Brentley!

Josie came over to play.

She got some quality Barbie time with them.

On our Saturday garage sale and shopping trip, we had to stop at the Halloween store, some scary stuff in there.
