Ava soccer, Josie Legos

Josie brought over belated Valentine cupcakes Thursday (since she was home with Mom for a snow day Wednesday), they were really yummy, too.

We got the big Legos out and she spent a long time playing with them.  Of course the kitty and puppy were her favorites.

Not sure what Ava is grinning about here at Heritage H.S. Thursday vs Frontier at but they won 6-0.  It was a relaxed game, mostly they practiced passing, playing keep away so as not to run up the score.

 

Weekend activities

Last week Josie made Uncle have a leg workout on the teeter totter.

We went to the Kelso boys basketball game Friday night to watch Hayden (they won).   We saw Rielee's poster on a display in the hall of students that have been accepted or commited to colleges.

Saturday the girls came up, Harper had a bad cold so we mostly stayed in and baked goodies.

Bread, cinnamon rolls, sugar cookies, and a heart pizza for dinner.

Ava and I went for a walk in the afternoon down the Dolan's trail, we hunted for snails but couldn't find any.

Later we watched a movie and played Pick-up Sticks, Papa even played-and won!

 

More birthday

I had a wonderful 71st birthday, we went to watch Ava play soccer, they won again 4-0.  Then when we got home we had cake with Gabe, Des, Parker, Alissa and Rielee.  

Round 2 was Saturday-Ava and Harper spent the night and Nancy and the kids came up and brought cake and gifts, and we had Papa Pete's, too.

 

Parker's birthday

 We celebrated Parker's 23rd birthday yesterday with a fun dinner at Parker's and ice cream cake.
