V'ball, softball, Em b'day

Rielee is back at libero, she seems happy to be there and they beat Prairie at home Thursday. 

Harper scoring, she had a couple of great hits in this game.

Emmy turned 30 on Friday, Auna made the yummy cake for her.

Kelso played hard Thursday night but lost to Union 3-2. 

They had a great group of kids cheering them on, the boys are quite entertaining.

Friday morning Josie came to play.  She's really relaxed and didn't get upset leaving Grandma.

Laury said she liked corn on the cob, maybe that's why she chewed on this one for so long while watching Uncle outside.

We picked up the girls after school, Ava came running from the bus stop first,

then Harper finally showed up lugging her super heavy back pack!

Friday night they spent working on their house and on a new project, a house for Josie.

Saturday we visited the Dolans who were watching Nova.

Ava loves Australian Shepherds and will have her own someday.

Hot tubbing in the rain, they had to bail out when they heard thunder.

Josie, Emmy and Auna came over and the girls showed Josie her house.

Trying to entice her to go inside for treats,

She didn't, but she did go inside their house,

and finally went in by herself.

Josie brightens our day every time she comes over.

Ava at Harper's game Tuesday, it was bright and sunny at Liberty.

Harper scoring, the Ghostbusters all played well.  Luke is the umpire right behind the pitcher, such a good brother.

Rielee had lots of good serves and 7 kills when they beat Mt. View in three sets.  They were behind in the second set but came back to win it.

 

Ava's soccer, new cousin

Ava had a game today at Harmony, I didn't get any pictures of her on the field but I did get some of baby Noah, Kelly's great-nephew, son of Kelly's niece Rachelle and husband Adam.  

Such a handsome little guy!  

There's Ava-with her fans, and newest cousin/fan!  She played great, as usual!

 

Josie, softball and v'ball

This was Josie grinning at Uncle yesterday morning after he gave her some Vanilla Maple Puffs in her can, she had finished the others so he doled out a few of those.  But only a few cause she was stuffing them in her mouth two at a time, they're her favorite.  She and Grandma came over for an early visit, still in pj's.  

In the afternoon, we watched Harper get 2 hits and come in and score.

Then went to Evergreen H.S. and watched Kelso win 3-0.  

It was a fun day from start to finish.

 

Rielee volleyball

Kelso beat Heritage in their first home match tonight.  Due to an injured teammate, Rielee moved from libero to hitter.  She did really well with 8 kills.

It was fun watching her play at the net, 

and a nice season opener for the team.  

 

Laid back Labor Day

We had a laid back weekend with the girls.  We surprised them with a big box that kept them busy the whole time, in between playing corn hole, making donuts and Yahtzee, that is.  

Monday we made one last trip to the Toutle for the year.  Harper showed off her rock-skipping skills, making 5 skips, but 11 is her all-time record.  

Their house turned out pretty cool.  We made a trip to the Pharmacy for additional boxes to make it taller.
