Tree fort

Putting the last rung on the ladder to the new tree fort.

They were so happy with it, and immediately ran into the house to look for stuff to "decorate" it.

Then Papa added a pulley and bucket.

We found an outdoor rug they could use, up it goes.

And added some log stools to sit on, next visit they'll build a table. They kept their masks on for warmth  since it was pretty chilly out.

This was Harper's reaction when she finally won a round of Left, Center, Right after Ava had won 3 in a row.

When Daddy came to get them today, he checked it out and took some pictures.  They decided to call it "Gourde Castle"-Harper made the sign.

 

Visiting Josie

I was so tickled when visiting Josie and Laury today because Josie, the little sweetheart, climbed into my lap and let me hold her!  She may have just been trying to get to the coffee table but whatever, she let me hold her.  She's been a little apprehensive of me, especially with a mask on.  Can't wait for the day when we can leave a trail of cookies to our house to entice her to come over.  She's so fun, so busy, pulling herself up and playing with all her toys and books.  Such a doll.

 

Rielee volleyball

We were so happy to watch Kelso volleyball again tonight and see Rielee play, even though it was on Facebook Live.  They played Camas at home, losing 3-1. 

Lunch date

Look who we had lunch with today! 

They chose Red Robin, because Harper loves the mac n' cheese there.  It was fun visiting with them, we heard all about the tooth Harper lost, Ava's soccer, school, and how they were looking forward to a new episode of Wanda Vision tonight.  On the way back we stopped at Michaels for craft supplies, they picked out beads to make necklaces.

 

Muscles, building, cooking

The girls came up Saturday after Ava's game.  This was at bedtime, when they were being silly and showing off their muscles.

A visit with Josie and Mom

We had a little visitor this morning.  Josie came over and showed off her crawling skills, and is she fast, especially when Mom's phone is within reach!

Uncle tried to get her to come to him, but she decided to just study his hands instead.

She really likes it when Mom flies her around on her knees.  Such a sweetie, her Mom is pretty sweet, too.

Parker's 21st

He's 21 today, how did that happen?  Had some cake and ice cream and then he was off to town to have dinner and a legal drink with the family.

These two are best buds.
