Pool time

Ava and Harper came up Friday and were thrilled when Des invited them to go swimming.
Those are Harper's feet as she showed me her handstand.
Rielee's friends Lucy and Georgie were visiting, but they all went inside to eat so the girls had the pool to themselves for quite awhile.

Slime again

 Making slime never gets old.
The girls came up Tuesday while Kelly worked all day.  They did their school work until about noon, making a video and acting out their WOW spelling words.  Then we had a fire pit lunch with Rielee.  She was busy with homework so she couldn't stay.  Papa later took her to the Humane Society to volunteer, she was hoping they might have some kittens there.
Ava and Harper rode bikes and goofed around with crafts making stuff out of boxes for the rest of the day.

Sunday project

This morning Papa helped Parker install a patio door in the back of his shop.

They got it in pretty quickly but it still needs some trim so I'll wait to take a finished picture then.

Ava's tooth, homework

We were happy to have the girls all day Thursday while Kelly worked.
The first thing Ava did was lose a tooth eating her french toast.  She was happy as it was one that she was going to need to have pulled when she gets her braces.

Things have sure changed, this was Harper taking a picture of her math homework with her chrome book and sending it to her teacher.
They both had a lot of school work to do, but they also got in a few breaks when the rain let up and rode their bikes.  And Rielee came over in the afternoon and I showed them all how to make hypertufa pots and planters, it was messy but fun.

Fun Friday

They got so busy playing they forget they still had their masks on.
We've started meeting Kelly in LaCenter again, we take the SUV (which we adapted with some clear plastic behind the seat), they sit in the 3rd row, and we all wear our masks.

We split a couple of games of badminton.  They get so silly when they're playing half the time they're rolling around on the ground laughing.

Harper made it snow.

They've had more fun playing on this thing, they can get it spinning really fast.

Lexi's graduation parade

Lexi graduated from Boise State on Saturday, her graduation ceremony was postponed until December and virtual instead.
We celebrated with a Graduation Parade for her in the afternoon.
Ava and Harper helped by handing out cupcakes and water bottles.

New Lost World bridge

Checking out the new Lost World bridge Papa made this week.  The old one that he made when Will was little rotted away long ago.  Ava was more excited with the big snail she found beside it.
They crammed a lot of activity into their visit today, chalk, slime, Barbies, some hammock time, 3 games of badminton and a little Mother's Day project.

Nancy and Colin lunch, Auna's 20th

Nancy and Colin came up for a fire pit lunch today.  We had a nice visit and then went for a walk, showing Nancy the Dolan's canyon trail, well, the top part anyway, and some of the clearing we've been working on.
Big fail with the social distancing when it came to a picture.

Auna turned 20 today!  They had a fire pit party (using Emmy and Dan's smoke free fire pit, we really need one of those)  and played Pictionary.  Lots of laughs with that.
