Pictionary

Outdoor Pictionary, 6 feet apart, was a lot of fun.  We really miss playing cards and games with the kids,  so this was a good substitute.  We laughed a lot - especially when Rielee tried to draw a dolphin.

They got messy with the chalk again.

 Harper catching some air.
And you're never too old for bubbles.

Luke is 19

Yesterday was Luke's 19th birthday, not a ton of fun when quarantined.
We took him a pizza for lunch and the Heath cake he likes.
He's such a great brother, his sisters are lucky. (Lexi was in Boise)

Hammock, chalk rivers

Kelly brought the girls up to play this afternoon.  We had Papa Pete's pizza for lunch.  Rielee joined us but had to go right back home to study-she started classes at LCC today.  After Rielee and Kelly left, the girls played at the play fort until we remembered to put up the hammock.

The first day on the hammock always makes them happy.
I bought them face masks, they liked the colors but didn't like wearing them very much.
Ava burbed while wearing hers and said it was gross.

They spent the longest time playing with the hose and chalk, making rainbow rivers and just being silly and getting messy.

Emmy's Surprise Drive by Shower

Emmy's shower was originally going to be at Des' house today but was cancelled due to the quarantine.  Instead, she was surprised with a drive by shower.
Dan kept Emmy busy inside while Laury, David, Auna and Colby set up decorations in the yard and a table for gifts on the sidewalk.  We all waited in our cars down the block until Dan brought her out.  And she really was surprised!

Auna taking pictures.
Lots of family and friends came by, there was a long line of cars.

And those "JJ" balloons on the grass, I hear those might be the baby's initials?

Easter

It was a quieter Easter this year, just us and physical distancing.  Rielee hunted eggs in the woods,
while Harper and Ava hunted in the yard.

We stayed in family units while we ate and we also did the egg roll separately, the winner of each family went again,  Macee was the winner.  Ava and Harper did well in the egg toss, the grass really helped.   Ava and Dad made it to the finals against Parker and Gabe, the guys won.

It was different Easter and we missed Cathy running things.  But it was nice to be together, even without the hugs.
And I love this picture Laury sent me of the parents-to-be, we miss them so much.

Picking Easter lilies

The girls came up today to pick some Easter lilies (trilliums).  Rielee joined us and we hiked the Dolan's trail, being careful to stay 6 feet apart, and they found several.
They had lots of fun playing catch and playing on the swings.
It was so fun to have them here again, to hear their laughter is priceless.
