What a great surprise to wake up today and find this much snow! Better yet, Cathy invited the girls down to sled with Jillian, Bridget and Tor.
They had a great time!
Jillian set up a jump, there wasn't really enough snow for it, but Harper tried it anyway, she had kind of a hard landing.
After they tired of sledding and hiking back up the hill, they started on snowmen (Harper was cold and went inside).
They posed for a cousin picture. then played there for a couple of hours, then came to our house.

They also played Minecraft and Mario Cart on the Switch and Tor showed me how he could dribble while riding the hover board.
Friday, March 13th
They took this Gourde girl selfie this afternoon. They were consoling each other after the shock of learning they won't have school for 6 weeks due to the coronavirus. Rielee was very sad, she told me she cried for 20 minutes after she found out the news. She loves school and was looking forward to track season and learning how to pole vault. Ava and Harper were sad, too, they said several kids were crying in class and many were on the bus ride home. They were happy they could bring home their Chromebooks though, they like playing the educational games Prodigy, Scratch and Little Alchemy 2.
