Red Robin lunch

Wednesday the girls chose Red Robin for lunch.  Ava had a grilled cheese and Harper mac n' cheese.

Then we went to Menchie's for dessert, just a little because we were pretty full.  But somehow, Papa ended up with a heaping full bowl, he ate it all, too.

Monopoly with Papa

Papa decided to join us for a game of Monopoly this morning, "oh great" we thought "this will be fun!" Wrong.  He did his best to annoy us (like pronouncing "Pinocchio" wrong over and over), proceeded to amass a fortune, gloating every step of the way.  Ava took me out but Papa had too much property and cash for her to compete with him.  Harper was just plain frustrated by it all.

We'll get him next time.

Wednesday in Camas, Parker & Charb

  The girls were excited to ride their bikes Wednesday but Ava got cold and went back to the house with Papa.  Harper gave me a tour of the neighborhood, the l"ittle"block behind where they live and the "big" block that their house is on.  She showed me where all her friends live, also their babysitter, teachers they know, and even kids she doesn't know.  

She told me that this section of fence is where she, Ava and Karsyn stop when they're tired, they call it the "hedge".

 Charb sent me this picture Thursday.  Parker was working the J.H. Kelly table at the Battleground H.S. Industry Fair.

 Friday evening Ava cuddled with Rielee, her stomach was still upset from the flu shot she got Thursday.  

Rielee won the still life drawing contest today.  

Valentines Day Jenga

The girls were here for Valentines Day since they didn't have school.  Harper found a heart-shaped seed in her toast, don't see that every day.

 They smiled nicely for photos to use in picture frames they painted and decorated for Mom and Dad.

We played a fun game of Jenga, then they got the easel out and painted.

Parker and Kendyl's window

 Tuesday Papa helped Parker install the window for their bedroom.

It took some adjustments, but they finally got it in.  

Papa finished the trim Wednesday. 

Allison's Senior night, Rielee's tournament

Thursday night we watched Allison cheer at the last home basketball game.  The boys got beat by Toutle but it was really fun watching her.

Sunday we got to see Rielee play in a power league tournament at Mark Morris, she's #2.  They played some tough teams but did well enough that they stayed in Platinum division.

Menchies, Parker cleans up

Since Ava has soccer practice of Wednesday now, we went to Camas to stay with the girls until Kelly got home.  We took them pizza, helped with homework, then went to Menchie's.

They added some inspiration to the blackboard.

When Parker came home from work today there was a tree down blocking one lane, right below the old house.  He called Papa to come down and block traffic while he cut it up and moved it. The State Patrol and a DOT worker stopped by and thanked him.

Nature walk, Parker and Kendyl are engaged

A beautiful Sunday morning nature walk, we hiked down the Dolan's canyon trail.

Parker and Kendyl came over to show us her ring and the box he gave her when he proposed.  It was filled with pictures of them.
