Ava & Harper friends sleepover

Friday-Ava and Harper brought their friends Sally, Sadie and Ella up to visit us.

First, we went to Longview to do some shopping and had lunch at Applebee's,

then we stopped in CR so they could see our little town.

When we got home, they did a scavenger hunt that took them around

the neighborhood.

They tried out the zipline,

played an "unwind the streamers" game and a selfie game.

And generally hung out.

I made sugar cookies, they decorated and ate them.

Then they painted canvases while wearing peel-off face masks.

Except Ava, her mask turned out to be non-peel off...

It was nice to get to know the girls' friends, they are so sweet,

kind, and funny, and they all get along so well.

We decided to adopt them!

Ava had a soccer match Saturday afternoon, she played great.  It ended in a 0-0 tie

Ellie was over Tuesday, she's busier than ever now and doesn't want to be held.

Wednesday we had lunch with the girls at the Stardust Diner.

Uncle played blocks with Brentley today.  She came over with Grandma and Papa, no Hattie, she was home sick with a cough.

Ellie visit Wrennie's b'day party

Ellie came to stay yesterday morning.

She was her happy self.

Until Papa tried to show her how to crawl,

then she looked so frustrated with him.

Macee sent pictures of Wrennie's early first birthday party in Hawaii,

she said Wrennie loved her Funfetti cake.

We watched Ellie yesterday for a few hours.  She was fun,

she played a lot and took three short naps.

She likes it when Papa chews on and tickles her feet.

 

Ava, Harper, Josie

The girls came up Saturday after Ava's game.  We went thrift shopping, painted, played cards.

Josie came over Sunday so she painted a picture while Ava finished up hers.

Harper played Barbies with Josie, it was all about a surprise birthday party.

It was a race to finish the puzzle before Kelly picked them up, getting the barn and cow together was slow going.

Ellie came over to stay with us for the afternoon.

We visited at the Dolan's where Brentley was at first a little concerned when her

Mom was holding Ellie.   

But then she was curious and reached out to touch her little cousin.

Ellie is 5 months old today.  We had

a visit from her yesterday, she's rolling over fast now and

has two teeth.

We tried out the walker but her feet barely touch, she did like sitting and playing in it though.

Such a happy girl!
