Brentley, Ellie, JUNIORS

Saturday we got to Brentley's first birthday party just in time to see her with her cake.

So sweet!

Sunday the kids came over and Charb and Kelly met Ellie.

Monday the girls started their JUNIOR year! Juniors, can't wrap my head around that one.

I was fortunate to get to watch Ellie twice this week while Alissa worked and moved stuff.

She's a very happy baby and loves to snuggle.

 

Food truck lunch, goodbye dinner

Wednesday we took the girls out to lunch at the Oak Tree Station, where there are many food trucks with all types of food.  Still, we ate pizza, fries and hotdogs, plus some delicious cookies from the bakery.

Ellie was the centerpiece at Rielee's last dinner before going back to college.

Tried to get her to wake up but she was too comfy.

Wednesday the girls were up so we had the Gourdes over for pizza so they could meet Ellie.

Ellie was sound asleep, but she got passed around so much

she finally woke up.  She is such a sweetie.

The girls relived their younger days and played a very long game of Monopoly.

Ape Cave

Thursday - we took the girls to Cougar and Ape Cave.  This was at Yale Lake, Harper is quite the rock skipper.  

Stopped at the interpretive center where there's a boardwalk through the forest and many tree wells.

They climbed down into one that you could crawl through.

I turned back midway and the three of them went to the end.

A very fun day, and later we got the great news that Ellie was born.

 

Wrennie

Sweet Wrennie, she was scared of us again, so we backed away and watched her play.

She can motor all around in the walker.

And got up all fours a couple of times, she's ready to crawl!

She was very serious while waiting for her dinner.

 

Meeting Ellie

We went to the hospital Friday to meet Ellie Lou.  What a doll she is!

And so much hair!

Proud Gigi was there, too.

She looks like Parker a little but also Alissa.

Just a beautiful baby girl.

 

Josie and Hattie

A fun visit with Josie and Hattie sometime in July.

Josie wanted to create a wedding venue for the Barbie's to get married in.  

I have such fun with these two, especially being their secret "postman" when they get mail at the play fort. They get so excited to get mail.

 

16!

How can they be 16 already?  But here they are, soon to be driving...I don't even want to think about that!

We celebrated with a fun little party at Papa Pete's in Ridgefield.
